Career

Shera is one of the most loyal bodyguards in the Bollywood.
He was born into a Sikh family and his ancestral roots are from Punjab.
His name ‘Shera’ was given by his father because he was a healthy baby at the time of his birth.
After completing his school education, he left studies and started aiming at bodybuilding.
Initially, he used to wore turban but due to his job, he sacrificed it.
He won the titles of Mr. Mumbai 1987 and Mr. Maharashtra in bodybuilding contests in which he stood second.
He wanted to become a model but due to lack of financial support, he quit his dream and started helping his father in his automobiles work in Andheri, Mumbai.
Due to his well maintained and impressive physique, he started getting offers for a job of bodyguard from the Bollywood in the early 1990’s.
In 1993, he started his own security company with the name ‘Tiger Supplies’ that supplies bodyguards to a lot of Bollywood and Hollywood actors.
In 1995, Shera met Salman at a party held by a Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves.
Shera was called by Sohail Khan when he needed security for Salman Khan’s overseas tour and he got impressed with Shera’s work and insisted him to guard Salman and that is how his journey with Salman Khan started.
He calls Salman with the name ‘Maalik’.
He is working with Salman Khan for more than 20 years and in an interview, he said that if needed, he is ready to sacrifice his life for the actor.
Salman Khan usually gives Shera money or property incentives on festive occasions, movie promos, award ceremonies etc.
In 2011, he gave a special appearance in the Bollywood movie ‘Bodyguard’.
Salman Khan promoted Shera’s security company ‘Tiger Security’ in the film ‘Bodyguard’ by wearing attires with the name of the company logo.
In 2014, Shera was also the guard at Ahana Deol‘s wedding and was once the guard to the Shahenshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan.
On May 2017, when Justin Bieber was in India for his world tour, Shera personally observed the security arrangements of the Canadian pop star.
According to sources, Salman will be launching Shera’s son Tiger soon in the Bollywood.
